I host jams at my place every few weeks on Saturday nights, from 6 til 11. I am on the north side of Blue Springs, near Burr Oak Woods. I am looking to add to my roster of talented and friendly musicians. My usual lineup is an acoustic guitar, 2 electric guitars, bass, drums, sax and keys. I would like to add a hand percussionist as I have a set of congas and bongos here. I would also like to add some horns to go with the sax. Age range is 16-70, guys and gals, all friendly and talented, a very laidback, casual and creative environment. If you used to play in a band and have the itch to play again just for fun, this might be just what you are looking for. I am also looking for singer/songwriters who have songs they've written and would like to have fleshed out with a backing band. We've done that in the past with great results. No setlist, usually play some classic rock, some blues, some newer stuff, a few originals, some mashups. I have a thousand-watt PA, a 24-channel mixer, monitors, mics, a 6-piece drum kit, bass amp and keyboards here. Lots of fun!
