Currently the Dining Room is looking for individuals with cooking experience, who would be assisting our head chef in preparing the food for the day. The shifts available are 8am-10am and 10am-12pm Monday-Thursday. Dining Room Kitchen Assistant Description: Full-time/Part-time: Part-time Duration: 2 hour shifts Days & Hours: Mon-Thu, 8:00am-10:00am & 10:00am-12:00pm The Kitchen Assistant will assist the Kitchen Coordinator in preparing hot, nutritious and balanced meals for approximately 250 guests per day in a restaurant setting. The Dining Room is a congregate meal site for FOOD for Lane County, serving low- or no-income individuals and families. The ideal candidate will have some professional kitchen experience and/or training, and a desire to further that training. Candidates should be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
