Help Deworming Uncooperative Cat

Hello, I am a retired senior veteran. I have a cat named Smokie that will not take a praziquantel pill to eliminate the white worms visible in his stool. Please if you a different application method(topical/injectable) or have skills to get a cat to take a pill I would be grateful for your help. I don't have a lot of money.
