Salaries vary depending on experience $25.00-$35.00/Hour Normal Office Hours: Monday through Friday 7AM-4PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Experience with Access Control Systems • Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems • Experience with Video Surveillance Systems • Excellent organizational skills • Excellent communication skills • Excellent problem-solving skills • Structured cabling experience • Experience with gate controls/ADO’s and overall integration Qualifications: • 5+ years of ACCESS CONTROL experience and some Division# 8 Door Hardware experience. • Ability to read and understand blueprints/plans/egress plans • Must fully understand Network/VLAN/Rs485/Wiegand/Relay Logic/Fail-safe & Fail Secure/BACnet/SLC Loop/Fire Alarm tie-in/12&24 VDC/Card Access Software and Programming/Rs232/RX Scanners/Door Position Switches etc • Awareness of job site safety protocol • Attention to detail • Written and verbal communication • Ability to work independently • Always maintain politeness and professionalism • Maintain a clean work appearance • Able to work in all weather conditions • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. ***Must have a valid Driver’s License if you are issued a company vehicle. ***Employees are required to pass a drug screening and have a clean driving record. Generally, the job requires some cable pulling, ceiling support, structured cabling, access control & intrusion panel work, relay logic, low voltage power, network set up, programming etc. Hand and power tools, ladders, Fire System related testing devices. Safety/protection devices such as half-face respirators and fall protection equipment. Some use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to computer workstation/laptop/printer, software, associated computer/technology peripherals.
