GO Box designs, builds and operates circular, zero waste reuse systems that eliminate the harmful environmental, social and economic impacts of single-use products. We are currently focusing on addressing single-use waste resulting from to-go food and drink by providing professionally clean and sanitized reusable containers and cups as a service to food service establishments and takeout customers. GO Box has already eliminated over 1 million single-use products and we’re just getting started! We are an exciting start-up looking to rapidly scale our service this year. We are currently seeking an Operations Specialist who will be responsible for duties necessary for the successful sanitation of reusables, as well as logistics and warehouse operations. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will contribute to the overall success of our service This position is based out of the GO Box HQ is located in inner southeast Portland. Job Type: Full and part-time positions available, Monday through Friday, No weekend hours. Primary Responsibilities: -Manage reusables through quality assurance checks, washing/sanitizing, drying, and repackaging processes -Unload and load reusables into delivery trucks -Help keep warehouse clean and safe -The main equipment used is a commercial sink and dishwasher, push carts, and pallet jacks Requirements: -Must be able to work well as part of a team -Ability to communicate clearly, read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations -Reliable; consistently at work and on time -Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willing to report potentially unsafe conditions -Capable of lifting 25-50lbs -Forklift certification helpful but not necessary Competitive hourly wage (paid weekly) plus benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, Oregon Saves Roth IRA, Oregon paid sick leave, paid holidays and paid time off.
