Pablo will be two years old on October 16th; I got him when he was around three weeks old, which means I bottle fed him from that age until he could eat solid food. He was separated from his mother much too young, and his ability to interact with people and other dogs is what shows this issue. He is a sweet, smart, and cute dog, but he is unpredictable - he will occasionally lash out (usually when moved from a place he is sitting or when he has a toy) and he can be overly aggressive.
Unfortunately, I am unable to continue caring for him. I am young and I live alone - the stress of him potentially biting or hurting someone at my house has become too much for me, and he doesn't have enough interaction with other dogs.
However, he does get along wonderfully with other chihuahuas, and seems to need a home with another dog in it.
I want to emphasize that he is, for the most part, a good dog; he is healthy and handsome, but needs to be in a space that gives him a better idea of a hierarchy, alpha relationships, 'pack mentality,' etc. Ideally, he would find a home with someone who owns another chihuahua or small dog, and has experience dealing with chihuahuas like Pablo.
There is no rehoming fee for Pablo. He is a good pup who deserves a good home. I will provide all of the supplies I have for him free of charge (harness, leash, food, several toys, along with anything else I have for him that you'd like to take with you). Please feel free to email at any time with questions about Pablo or this post; I am hoping to find him a good home ASAP.
