Millions of bison once roamed America's heartland. While millions of mixed gene bison reside on private lands, pure gened wild bison number fewer than 15000; most of which reside in Yellowstone National Park. Yet every year Yellowstone indiscriminately slaughters thousands due to greedy MT ranchers the control the MT legislature. These few remaining pure gened bison are desperately needed to strengthen local gene pools in other parts of the country. These magnificent gentle beasts deserve better. STOP THE SLAUGHTER!
