D1.1 Welder - 2-Week Contract

We are seeking a veteran / principal welder who can start IMMEDIATELY on a two-week contract (Aug 17 – 31) to help weld and fabricate steel trailers. We have a dedicated weld booth ready for you and all the weld equipment on-site, all you need to do is bring your 'A' game (and your hood if you have one). WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: • Advanced Welding: steel structural welding (D1.1), production welding (MIG), manufacturing welding (TIG), full penetration welding (Dual Shield / Flux Core Arc), and assisting with special projects (fitting, fixtures, and structural work) • Reading, interpreting, and following blueprints and work orders to customer specifications • Performing quality checks, setting up, laying out, and reworking finished products • Maintain a clean and safe work environment WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: • 10+ years of welding experience • Having D1.1 welding certification is required, additional certifications are preferred • The ability to read and interpret blueprints, use of various tools such as a tape measure, grinder, and power tools • Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred • Mechanically inclined and safety oriented mindset • The ability to work with others and bring a positive attitude • The ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on your feet • Authorized to work in the United States If you are interested in learning more, please send your resume via email right away (or alternatively, a quick summary of your qualifications)!
