Designed for someone with some experience creating bonsai, this class will expand on the concepts such as tree design, techniques & more. This class is designed for someone with some experience create bonsai. We will expand on the concepts learned in that class. Additional information will be given about tree design, styling tips, wiring techniques and more. The instructor will explain using a pre-bonsai tree to demonstrate and answer any questions. The skills you learn will allow you to begin the journey to becoming a bonsai artist and the ability to appreciate the Art of Bonsai when viewing trees. Each student will receive a bonsai tree to work with and take home! ALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WILL BE FOLLOWED MASKS ARE REQUIRED AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE ENFORCED Instructor Bio: Ray Kincaid studied both Architecture and Computer Science at Miami-Dade College. He has used his skills as an architectural draftsman, florist and also in the field of computer science, telecommunications, furniture refinishing, photography and as a Porsche Mechanic assistant. He is a member of several local societies including the Bonsai Society of Miami 2006, Gold Coast Bonsai Society, Lighthouse Bonsai Society, Bonsai Society of Florida and TFEPS in Fairchild. He has owned his own small bonsai nursery since 2013.
