Terry's Contract Carpets, a commercial flooring company, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse/Delivery Manager at our Charlotte, NC location. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with benefits. The ideal candidate must be able to handle delivery of materials to jobsites, inventory management and have the expertise to interact with all levels of staff. This position requires the ability to remain positive, proactive, resourceful and efficient while multi-tasking various warehouse responsibilities. Warehouse Manager Responsibilities: • Opening of store every morning • Receiving of Materials in computer system • Picking up and transferring of Materials • Delivery of Materials to Jobsite when needed • Unloading of Materials • Delivery of Attic Stock to jobsite • Disposal of pallets • Keep the warehouse clean • Keep the warehouse restroom clean • Delivery and installation of rugs • Manage current stock of inventory • Semi Annual Physical Inventory Cycle Count • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports • Verification of Inventory Adjustments • Responsible for the schedule of current Van Maintenance • Coordination of material and transfer deliveries • Pull orders for projects prior to job start date • Ensure accuracy of Pulled Orders against Work Orders • Report building repairs to landlord • Drop off Fed Ex packages when needed • Answer and Direct Phone Calls when needed • At Closeout, consolidate materials onsite and deliver back to the store • Drop off submittals to contractors • Pick up payments from contractors • Read and interpret blueprints • Accompany installers to jobsite • Install and take readings of Rh Probes • Complete punch list items when possible or when needed • Attend meetings when needed • Ensure Terry’s Floor Fashions safety guidelines are being met onsite Qualifications: * VALID DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED * Construction back ground preferred * Drug test Qualified applicants with the ability to start immediately should apply.
