Seeking DIESEL MECHANICS to join our Mechanic team at Hill Services! The position will inspect, maintain, diagnose, adjust, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and overhaul all components related to diesel and fuel engine pick-ups, vans, box trucks, tanker trucks and tractors, as well as, hydraulic, electrical, and robotic equipment used in hydroblasting and vacuum work. We are open to varying levels of skill to join the team and learn. Candidate must have their own tools. Candidate must be flexible to travel to make repairs as needed, with some work on-call. The job can entail work outdoors in industrial environments, confined spaces and/or heights. The starting pay ranges from $19.00 - $25.00/hour, based on experience. REQUIREMENTS: *Must have a valid driver’s license, with less than 3 moving violations and accidents. *Candidates with a CDL are preferred, but not required. *Must be able to work some on-call work and travel to make repairs. *Must have a general understanding/experience with brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, routine maintenance (oil, batteries, etc), and tires. Preferred individuals to pass a 7 year background check.
