To Apply: OR email [email protected] Game Day Pop Up Sales Associate Conrads College Gifts, the Buckeye State Store, is looking for part-time sales associates for our home Ohio State football game pop-up store. During all Ohio State home football games, Conrads sets up a 350 sq ft outdoor store that we build, sell from, and tear down each Saturday. You will be helping to set up and tear down tents, tables, displays, and merchandise, providing customer service, and restocking and straightening the merchandise. The normal hours of operation will be (subject to change based on need) 12:00 pm games: 5:30am-7:30pm 3:30 pm games: 6:30am-10:00pm 7:00 or 7:30 pm games: 6:30am-9:00pm or 1:00am You may choose to work the entire time or in 6-hour shifts, but we ask that you make the entire season commitment. Who you are: If you’d describe yourself as someone who is passionate about the Buckeyes, is an early riser, can do physical work, likes to be outside, and likes to work less often but for longer periods of time then apply now. What you bring to the team: Effective communication and customer service skills. Ability to readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs (when on duty) 18 years of age or older Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 75 lbs Ability to stand outside for extended periods in varying weather conditions A true passion to work with Buckeye fans around the world Knowledge of Ohio’s sports teams (Ideally a fan as well) Possess a valid driver’s license Available during the hours and dates above Who we are: We’re a family-owned business that has been an essential retail mainstay in the Columbus community for over 53 years. A little bit more of what you would be doing: Arrive on time for each shift and be ready to work Help unload all the displays and merchandise from a box truck Set up tents, tables, racks, and displays based on instructions from the team lead Put out the merchandise in an organized and thought-out manner Monitor people to prevent shoplifting Help customers with questions about the merchandise Throughout the day check to ensure merchandise is ready for sale, in the correct location, and restocked promptly. Carefully pack merchandise up in boxes and totes and load it into the truck Tear down and load tents, tables, and racks and load into the truck Other duties and responsibilities as assigned to ensure the continued operation of the business What you bring to the team: Effective communication and customer service skills. Ability to readily adjust tasks and priorities when necessary to meet business needs (when on duty) 18 years of age or older Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 75 lbs Ability to stand outside for extended periods in varying weather conditions A true passion to work with Buckeye fans around the world Knowledge of Ohio’s sports teams (Ideally a fan as well) Upbeat personality Possess a reliable source of transportation Reliable and hard worker What we can offer you: Hourly pay starting at $14 per hour $10 per diem for lunch Any shift 6 hours or more receives a paid 30 minute lunch break Any shift over 8 hours receives a paid 30 minute lunch break and a 15 minute paid break Coffee and bagels provided in the morning Water and drinks provided WE PAY AT THE END OF THE EVENT SATURDAY ON THE SPOT VIA CASH.
