For most homeowners, taking care of your home is a pain. From finding good service providers, to tracking how much you’re spending on your house, to getting good, objective and valuable advice from people you can trust - homeownership is an ever-present obligation that feels like it hasn’t caught up to the conveniences of our modern world. Only wealthy homeowners could afford a house manager to reduce that burden. Onder is setting out to redefine the homeownership experience by giving everybody the same level of help and service to take care of their homes that historically was only available to this wealthy group. We are creating a pushbutton experience for homeownership, and creating a service in the process that will work on behalf of homeowners, not advertisers. Core / High Level Job responsibilities: A 1hr home preventative care maintenance visit covering off a pre-set checklist + whatever else can be covered in the 1 hour time frame A brief documentation of what was completed Reliability, friendliness, knowledge Regular Tasks: - Change the HVAC filter - Smoke Detector / CO Detector Battery Check - Turn on outside faucets - Check water heater age - Check water heater for earthquake straps - Check exterior drainage - Clean out window wells of debris - Check and clean dryer vent, other exhaust vents to exterior of home - Test GFCI outlets - Inspect range burners and oven - Inspect AC condenser coils - Inspect faucet aerators, as needed - Inspect all drains for proper flow - Inspect and clean dishwasher drain filter and run cleaning cycle on dishwasher - Inspect dishwasher drain
