We are looking for a full time maintance assistant position here at our senior living center at Moran vista. This job is a 8-5 Mon-Friday kind of gig but hours can be adjusted to help on weekends if big projects are being completed. You don't need a'lot of experience to fill this role but any experience with construction or electrical will be favored. JOB SUMMARY: The priority of the Maintenance Assistant is to partner with the Maintenance Director to provide our residents and employees with a well-maintained healthcare facility, including equipment and surroundings. Compliance with federal, state, and local laws is essential. RESPONSIBILITIES: Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department, including orientation for new staff The Maintenance Assistant will help to maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize the potential for fire and accidents Maintains required records and reports performs budget planning Remains on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day Operates on the TELS platform for all Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks Other Duties as Assigned BENEFITS: Benefits of being a Sapphire Maintenance Assistant includes but is not limited to: Birthday/Holiday Pay Wellness Fund Uniform Fund Longevity Bonuses Quarterly Vacation Drawing Tuition Reimbursement 401K Medical, Dental, Vision
