Night Owls is hiring for our fulfillment department! Looking for some detail oriented wizards who want to come in and learn this department from the ground up. TONS OF POTENTIAL for moving upwards in this department. Pay: Job starts at $14/hr depending on experience. This is a full time position, with overtime pay, and plenty of opportunities to work extra. This position does come with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, time off) if you meet the requirements. This job would be perfect for someone who wants to leave the food service industry, or the retail sales industry. Dependable and repeatable hours and paycheck. Night Owls is a full service merchandise logistics company based in Houston, TX. While we offer high end screen printed apparel, promotional products, and fulfillment services, we really pride ourselves most on crafting unique merchandise that builds a lasting connection and fosters community between our customers and their fans. Our fulfillment/e-commerce department is growing, and we are searching for the perfect fit to help bring our high end products to our customer's customers. Fulfillment is where we are pushing our business, and there is room for stable positive growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include: -Picking and packing at minimum 100 packages per day. -Using a computer/Tablet -Focusing on repetitive tasks. -Working in a quick and steady pace. -Receives and reviews outgoing orders. -Pulls and picks inventory from dedicated shelves, boxes, and areas. -Verifies items are correct. -Packs orders according to packing protocol for invoiced items. -Verifies all contents and packing materials are correct. -Notifies supervisor of discrepancies in quality of stock or shortages. -Verifies computer printout sheets for quantities on hand or on order. -Helps Maintain accurate inventory records. -Double checking their work. -Maintains cleanliness of work station and equipment. Those are the main duties of the job, but there is a always room for growth at Night Owls. Whether it be helping in finishing, or production, or even cleaning up around the shop, extra effort is noticed and rewarded here. Job Requirements: Applicant must have a STRONG attention to detail. Applicant must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English. Applicant must be able to communicate effectively with fellow team mates. Applicant must be able to stand for 6-8 hours a day. Applicant must be able to frequently lift 30-50 lb boxes through out the day. Applicant must be able to withstand hot and humid warehouse. Applicants that can speak both English and Spanish are preferred. Applicants that are forklift certified are preferred.
