Description
I am rehoming my Whites Tree Frog named Kami. I am 99.9% sure that Kami is a male since Kami performs mating calls on occasion which as far as I am aware is restricted to male Whites Tree Frogs. Kami is almost 1.5 years old now and has been eating live mealworms out of a bowl. Kami's color is unusual in my opinion since unlike the standard bright green or bright blue that this species generally exhibits, Kami is more of a mix between light blue and grey while showcasing blue eyes. Kami is pretty chill personality wise and has never tried to bite me when I have removed him from his enclosure (with rubber gloves). I am rehoming Kami with his setup, though I think that he needs a larger enclosure. The enclosure he is currently being housed in is the following: https://www.petsmart.com/reptile/habitats-and-decor/terrariums/thrive-tropical-reptile-vertical-crescent-terrarium---20-gallon-54735.html?cgid=500118&fmethod=Browse. This terrarium is 20 gallons yet its' shape is not utilitarian whatsoever and the footprint does not allow much to be placed inside the enclosure with its' small width, this is the reason why the enclosure does not have much inside it though that has not caused Kami much problem since he has a large water bowl. Whites Tree Frogs do need at least a shallow clean water bowl at all times filled with water to avoid dehydration in addition to misting though Whites Tree Frogs are unique in that their skin produces a waxy gleam which allows them to survive in slightly drier climates than other tree frogs but water must still always be available. Kami's setup includes the 20 gallon crescent terrarium, substrate, 2 plastic bamboo poles, and a water & food bowl. I am rehoming Kami with his setup for $80.
