Fence Erector Mike's Fence Center, Inc. – Bend, OR Job description: We are looking for a skilled Fence Erector to assemble, construct and demolish various types and styles of fences. You will be responsible for ensuring the installation, functionality and reliability of various fence systems. An excellent fence erector must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various materials and tools as well as follow all safety precautions. Responsibilities: Small part organization Reading & Organizing Prints and Plans Crew Organization & Job Prioritizing Organization of work truck area Cut Lists (Follow, Produce, and Execute Multiple Cut Lists For Fence Products) Material Prep Skills Proven experience as contractor Excellent knowledge of construction Aptitude in using various hand tools (drills, reciprocating saw, etc.) and measurement tools (e.g. tape measures) Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints, plans, etc. A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines Very good communication skills A problem-solving ability Very good physical strength and stamina High school diploma/G.E.D. is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus Ability to work with others well Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
