Wanted: Bassist with Background Vocals We add a high gain guitar sound so we’re more of a punk/metal pop sounding band than your typical classic rock band. We are LOUD. We may ask you to raise your volume. We do not play songs note for note. We don’t play songs exactly like the record and even though we play some Beatles songs…they are not the Beatles you’re used to. We're looking for a BASS PLAYER to join our band. Someone who can sing background vocals. If you sing lead vocals, you’ll be able to sing lead on some songs, as well, if you’d like. About us: We are a male lead guitarist/lead vocalist and a female drummer. We play classic rock with a high gain guitar sound. We are much older than 40! We’re fun! Fully vaccinated and non-smokers. About you: Available to rehearse on Sundays and do gigs. Comfortable playing with older musicians. Easy to get along with. Fully vaccinated. Non-smoker. You live in Culver City or surrounding area. If the opportunity arises again, we’ll open for friends’ bands. We will, when ready, apply to play a set at a local venue. When we have enough songs, we we will find our own gigs. Rehearsals are in Culver City so we prefer you to be local to Culver City. We are currently rehearsing on Sundays. Please be able to rehearse on Sundays and again once during the week if we have a gig coming up. You must have your Sundays open. We may occasionally move the rehearsal to Saturday if any of us have a special event on Sunday, i.e. a wedding or a memorial. If we still interest you, drop us a line!
