Job description Unicare BMI is a leading commercial cleaning business dedicated to the highest standards of quality and integrity who is looking for some enthusiastic Area Manager to join our team. We specialize in customizing our services to facility's needs. Our clients include commercial office buildings, schools, branch offices, industrial facilities, medical facilities. Summary: The working field supervisor has operational accountability for their assigned customer accounts; they must manage and train their teams and inspect their jobsites regularly to ensure customer expectations are met. Essential Duties: Drive your own vehicle to various accounts throughout the day. Floater roll to clean accounts as needed Walk through the job sites to inspect regularly and report your findings – address any quality concerns immediately Identify any project work needed at customer worksites; communicate the need to Management Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints. Onboard and set-up training for all new employees. Manage any employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately report to management. Communicate the need for any special project work at customer accounts. Respond to calls whenever needed. Enforce all safety policies and procedures, report and investigate accidents. Complete SAFETY trainings as required. Direct supervision of the site supervisors and any janitors working at sites without supervisors. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed satisfactorily and all other tasks asked to perform. Minimum 2 years in a supervisor role in the janitorial industry. Ability to manage multiple sites and multiple crews Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail Strong Customer service skills Strong organizational skills Able to multi-task Ability to show judgment and to work independently Bilingual English-Spanish preferred Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Milage reimbursement Schedule: Monday to Friday Some weekends On call Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
