There is no adoption fee. This is Jane. She’s got a ton of energy and we’re just looking to see if we can find someone with a farm or large space to take her in. We currently have a small area and it isn’t enough for her to get all her energy out. She just deserves to have space to be free and have more attention. My partner and I work long shifts and barley have time for her. She’s 6 years old, isn’t spayed yet, and gets along great with cats, dogs,rats and bunnies. She was abused by her previous owner so she is very skiddish and needs time getting used to new people. She is afraid of men who she has yet to get to know. She was malnourished when I took her in. She was starved, beat and bred. None of her babies survived the abuse. She also is very picky with her food now. She will starve herself if she doesn’t like the food she’s given. She’s a good dog when you’re consistent with her. But if you let her get her way she won’t listen what so ever. She knows basic commands. We used snapping for her. She knows sit, lay down, go to bed, and free. We use The word free when we are allowing her outside. We make her sit before we open the door and tell her to stay until we use the word free and she’s allowed to go. This allows us to not be tripped by her when we’re opening doors. If you don’t use these commands she will run right under your feet and trip you. She is also crate trained, potty trained and was a previous service animal. Although she was trained in another language so I haven’t been able to keep up with that training as I don’t know the language. I am looking for someone willing to take the time to ease into this switch with both Jane and us and I am looking for someone who is willing to let us visit her and have updates.
