Carpenter Helper/ Construction Laborer

D.G. Ring Construction is seeking a highly motivated carpenter helper/ construction laborer to join our team and assist our carpenters with their daily tasks. This role is a 40 hours per week full-time position with the opportunity for growth. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools, be comfortable with heights, be open to learning new skills and have a positive attitude. Our company's primary focus is on residential remodeling, and our service area includes Beaverton and the surrounding cities. Daily job duties for this position include: Help Carpenters with repairs and installation of trim, siding, windows, doors, decks, and site layout Moving and climbing on ladders Use of power tools: nail guns, drills, cutting with saws, sanding Use of basic math to measure Occasionally help the painting crew with masking, sanding, and caulking Assist with job site setup Demo and site clean-up Job Requirements: Valid and reliable transportation Driver's license two pieces of government-issued I.D. Basic hand tools Background check required Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Must be able to work on ladders Must be able to stand, bend, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
