Come one, come all, to OPA’s All-Star Picnic & Fundraiser! We are excited to be back in person at the beautiful Lashutka Even Center on the Scioto River! Enjoy readings by our All-Star Poets who have published collections during the past year as well as readings by the Winners of our Student Poetry and Ides of March contests. Participate in a special "Name That Poem" game, help create a Potluck Poem, bid on a treasure in our Auction (details below), and enter to win a Door Prize. All about the Auction! Pictures and descriptions of auction items will be posted for viewing on the OPA Facebook page starting September 1. You can bid on the auction in person at the Lashutka Center or on our Facebook page should you not be able to attend. (Facebook bids will be via Comments for each item.) The auction will close at 3 p.m. on September 10. Winners will be notified individually for payment and for receiving their item. As OPA's only fundraiser for the year, the All-Star event provides an opportunity to support OPA through a financial contribution while simultaneously shining a spotlight on our fellow members and celebrating their accomplishments.
