I am not your puppet. You cannot and will not- continue to treat me like I am. Life is not putting someone who loves you on the shelf and ignoring them for days or weeks, only to then say; “hey wait!! I miss you” and take them off the shelf to play with them to stroke your ego and then return them to the shelf. You broke up with me. You shattered my heart and destroyed the forever I believe we had. So many times over 4 years - I stayed by you. My love for you, my want of our future, never- ever disappeared. You were my person! Even with everything you did or didn’t do for that matter- you were still him. I forgave you. I chose you. Silly me for trying to love you. I deserve so much more. Continue becoming “that better man” for the next woman. You’re done playing with me. I’ve cut the strings.
