Sadie is a 10 month old female blue heeler, believed to be purebred. She is up to date on shots and gets vitamins daily. She is not fixed currently as we were trying to decide her job to fulfill on the homestead. She knows some basic obedience and is very sweet with people she knows. She LOVES playing with her herding ball and chewing. She is also submissive to other dogs and gets along well with them.My concern is that #1, she is very prey driven and it has been a problem on our homestead as most of our other residents are rabbits and poultry. #2: she has never bitten a child, but I cannot guarantee that she won't because sometimes their behavior reminds her of prey ( we just had a small relative of mine stay with us and they had to be separate the whole time). Her instints are very strong and I think she would love to be on a working farm where she can do a job with large livestock. I just want her to be fulfilled and not be put into a situation where she or others will be hurt. I am asking $200 just to be sure she goes to someone who is serious about working with her.
