rehoming a sweet, senior tuxedo cat

Nugget is a 12 year neutered, male tuxedo cat. We got him as a kitten from a friends barn, and he has turned out to be a sweet, lovable and affectionate cat. We are very sad to get rid of him however allergies in our household have progressively gotten worse and are unmanageable so we have no other choice. He loves fuzzy blankets and especially loves to sit on his humans lap on a fuzzy blanket and take a nap. He will sleep away most of the day but loves to play as well. He loves to be pet too! He is great with our toddler, and has been amazing with her since we brought her home. He hasn’t been around dogs or others cats much since he is our only pet. He is really a great companion and not your typical cat. He likes his alone time but also loves to be with his people. He would likely do well being the only pet, since he is a senior and is somewhat stuck in his ways. He does have some medical issues- he is prone to UTIs so has been on specialized food for the past few years. We are happy to provide food for him to get you started. Nugget is free to a good home, but we want to ensure that he will be well cared for and happy. Please do not inquire unless you are able to care for a senior, special needs cat.
