The Reading Branch NAACP invite you to join us for our 35th Annual Freedom Fund Gala and Awards Ceremony. The annual Freedom Fund Gala is the premier fundraising event for the branch. The proceeds from the Gala, fund the year-long programs sponsored by the Branch in the areas of education, housing, economic development, health and political action. It provides the NAACP with the opportunity to invite like- minded partners and friends from the community to learn about the organization, celebrate our successes while we honor the selfless and giving acts of those making and having an Impact on others. The Freedom Fund Gala will be held on Sunday, October 30th at 6 pm at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel 100 No. 5th St. The evening will begin with the doors opening at 5 pm; the gala will start at 6 pm. We are honored to have the Rev. Dr. Bruce N. Alick, pastor of Zion Baptist Church and Past President of the PA Baptist State Convention as the keynote speaker; along with Dr. Brenda Ingram-Wallace, Assoc.
