Guitarist in Search of Beginning-ish Jazz Partner

I've been playing guitar for many years now, but I've recently begun working on becoming familiar with some styles of jazz. I'm looking for someone who is similarly proficient with their instrument, but also newish to jazz. My hope is to put together a list of standards (agreed upon, of course) and get together once a week to practice. I'm open for whatever we decide: real book, fake book, specific key signatures, etc. In time--and with study and practice--we could become jazz literate! Learning is my main goal here. That said, I'm open to more possibilities down the line, like doing open mics or going to the many jam sessions around town. If any of this sounds appealing to you, please do reply.
