We Need National Rent Control Our system largely relies on restraint and not greed on the part of people, but unfortunately most are not restrained when allowed to do what they want. Therefore landlords need to be reined in. If we continue on this trajectory, a substantial portion of our population is going to be homeless. This is also the case with killing people. If it were not illegal, there would be far more killing than there is now. If there were no traffic lights and laws, the streets would be undrivable. People can't be relied upon to treat others well. That's the sad reality of this world.
