This weekend offered another reminder of the harsh reality that not once has my interest in a woman been reciprocated. It's particularly sad when the reasons are completely beyond your control. This weekend offered another reminder that the odds are definitely not in my favor when it comes to finding love and connection. This weekend also offered a reminder that it's particularly hard to see everyone around you enjoying the love and connection that your heart longs for. This is especially true when you've been constantly denied that love and connection for reasons completely beyond your control. I noticed several couples enjoying the water together at Shelby Farms on Saturday. I also noticed several couples running and riding bikes together on Saturday. I also noticed several couples walking together and enjoying awesome conversation. I also can't forget about the numerous couples walking their dogs together. I noticed several couples enjoying dinner and awesome conversation together at a popular steakhouse in Germantown starting at around 7:30. I first noticed two couples sitting outside enjoying drinks together as they waited for their table. I noticed another couple arrive and make the decision to sit outside and enjoy drinks as they waited for their table. I noticed all of these couples eventually enjoying dinner and awesome conversation together. These are definitely some lucky guys! Nothing is keeping them from the love and connection that I saw them enjoying on Saturday. I then went to Kroger and noticed another couple being affectionate as they loaded up their car. This is definitely a lucky guy with nothing keeping him from enjoying such an amazing experience. I noticed more of the same on Sunday at various places. I noticed plenty of affectionate couples at church. I also noticed several couples enjoying various activities at Shelby Farms. I noticed a couple holding hands together as they walked around a popular shipping center in Germantown at around 6:15. All of this serving as a reminder that not once has my interest in a woman been reciprocated. It also goes back to the theme of being automatically rejected before the first hello for reasons completely beyond my control. These are all very lucky guys with absolutely nothing keeping them from enjoying such an incredible day and weekend. Such a weekend would've been a game changer in my life.
