Relax into the weekend. Saturdays at 10 am we come together for a mindfulness meditation to center ourselves & heighten our awareness. Mindfulness meditation helps one to relax and find their center. It is a practice of finding inner peace through non judgmental awareness of the present moment. Mindfulness teaches us to live with grace moment to moment and to find peace in our thoughts, feelings, body, and environment. It is about maintaining presence of heart, and fostering our gratitude and our connection to ourselves and the world around us. Through mindfulness, we are empowered to tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than living through our past or envisioning the future. Our hour long meditations each Saturday morning are a moment of peace to center oneself at the end of the busy week. During each session, Courtney Paige of Elder Moon leads a 30-45 minute meditation followed by a sharing circle and a cup of tea.
