Description
It pains me to have to do this but I need to re-home my 6-year-old male cockatiel, Wally. He loves nothing more than being around the people he likes. His new owners will have to be willing to keep his cage in a communal area and to get him out of the cage often. He knows the "step up" command to sit on your finger. He can sit on your shoulder and give you "kisses". He can whistle a few short tunes and even says, "whatcha doin?" It is better that he live with someone who does not have other pets. He actually seems to be afraid of other birds. I would love for his new owners to have had a bird before but this isn't required. He is "flighted" so he's used to flying around, however he has had his wings clipped before so he can adjust to that. Along with Wally I will provide his cage with stand and a box with his toys and food; as well as a small table-top perch that he's familiar with. Cockatiels don't like habitat changes so familiar things are key.
I am asking for a re-homing fee of $75. I personally don't live in Pittsburgh but I'm willing to travel to get Wally to his new home.
