Description
I have been fostering this 1-2 year old, 40 lb, female shepherd mix for about 6 weeks now. I found her as a stray while I was driving through the indian reservation in Arizona. She was living in a culvert under the road near a gas station. I got her the medical attention she needed (including complete vaccinations and microchip), she’s about to get spayed, and then she’ll be ready for a new home! She’s sweet as pie, LIVES for belly rubs, has a strong desire to please, excellent house manners, is potty trained, kennel trained, rides well in the car laying down in the backseat, and walks very politely on a leash with no pulling. She gets along well with my 2 dogs and my cat. Introductions to new people and new animals will need to be slow and gentle at first, allowing her to warm up on her own terms, as she is a cautious girl who doesn’t yet fully understand that despite her rough start in life, the world is a beautiful and safe place. I have never had her around children.
If you’re interested in her, let me know and we can talk further about her adoption fee, and there will be an adoption application for you to fill out.
