TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Meet our Patch Pet of the Week: Earnhardt!
Nicknamed Ernie, this 2-year-old/terrier mix reportedly came to the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter scared and malnourished, but has since become a staff favorite.

The shelter says Ernie "loves snuggles, treats, and wiggling his butt to say hello to everybody he comes across. Don't let the breed name fool you – Ernie is a gentle giant and greets everyone with tail wags and hugs."
Ernie is currently available for adoption at Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter for $100.
The shelter says Ernie's neuter, microchip, vaccines, and dewormer are covered.
If you are interested in adopting Ernie or learning more about him, call the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter (205) 752-9101. Walk-ins are also welcome at the shelter.
