A Vatican-recognized authority on the Shroud of Turin, a member of the Shroud Science Group, and a Sacred Heart Academy graduate, Dr. Wayne Phillips returns to Sacred Heart’s North Campus Auditorium on Tuesday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. to provided an updated, in-depth look at the history and study of the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo during a special presentation sponsored by Sacred Heart’s Bible Study ministry. The shroud, believed to be the burial covering adorned to Jesus Christ when He was laid to rest following His crucifixion, has a complicated and multifaceted history, which will be discussed in this hour-long presentation, ending with a Q&A. The event is free and open to all parishioners of Sacred Heart and their guests.
