About Tony
My name is Tony Bolton. I was born right here in Columbus, Ohio at the recently demolished Mount Carmel Hospital and grew up on the Southside. I graduated from Marion Franklin High School, later attending Columbus State and Ohio State. I was in the U.S. Army Security Agency and Counter Electronic Warfare and Intelligence Battalion at Fort Bragg, NC. I worked for Landmark Incorporated for several years, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service and then from Upper Arlington Public Library.
I have created two Columbus History pages on Facebook; COCO:Classic Old Columbus Ohio, and Do You Remember:Classic Old Columbus. There have been at least 10,000 posts and hundreds of photos shared on these pages.
I still live in Columbus. I am married and have three children. I now volunteer at Upper Arlington Library.
