Every day, the men and women of the Seattle Fire Department come to work, never knowing what they will face. The past two years have proved to be among the most challenging for Seattle Firefighters and professional staff, yet they have risen to every challenge with grace, commitment and courage. Words are never enough thanks for all these heroes sacrifice in service to the residents and businesses of Seattle. We hope you'll join us - the Seattle Fire Foundation - in celebrating these awards winners for their contributions to our safety and community. Our emcees: veteran journalist Mark Wright and Seattle Fire Deputy Chief Tom Walsh. Performances by Seattle Firefighter Pipes & Drums Band and the Walter Kilgore Memorial Honor Guard.
