On Sunday, October 2, 2022, 4PM, phenomenal women will be honored to receive the prestigious 27th Annual Fannie Lou Hamer Awards at the historic Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase Street, Annapolis, Maryland. Each year the event, sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Committee of Annapolis, recognizes women from various racial backgrounds, who like the late legendary icon Fannie Lou Hamer has made a difference in their community. Please join the MLK Committee in congratulating these women who are making a difference in their communities. The October 2nd event is open to the public. In addition to honoring these women, attendees will be able to fellowship and visit the exhibits that will be on display.
