At the free “How To: Upcycle Old Shirts” Event, attendees will have the chance to bring T-shirts, shirts or other old clothing that is no longer in use as it once was. For a chance to upcycle it into something that they’d want to wear again. At the event there will be a chance to paint with stencil over the clothing, iron-on patches, cut shirts in a few cool & different styles, rip, tie-dye, splatter with paint or bleach for cool effects, even add beads to it in heart and flower shapes. This event is fighting to eliminate the creation of more demand by upcycling what you already own into something cool. Demand is what drives the mass production of fast fashion & our planet's destruction. This event is testing a business idea and how to execute it correctly.
