Whether we are reflecting on our own lives or current events in the world, music is a powerful force that can help us express our thoughts or emotions when words cannot. The concert title is meant to be an incomplete sentence that the composer's intentions fill - when music speaks. . .people listen, when music speaks. . .a voice can be heard. The works featured on this program were composed to celebrate life, remember loss, and inspire change around us for the benefit of humanity. The program will be conducted by Dr. Hayden Denesha, a finalist for the LSO conductor position. Doors will open at 7 PM and seating is open.
