Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures for a Kansas River Adventure!  It is our favorite place to spend time in nature and we can't wait to share it with you.  We will paddle the Mighty Kaw from Wamego to Belvue This is a lovely section of the Kansas River affords us some sandbar exploration time, scenic views and the liklihood of wildlife viewing including eagles. We will send an email to all registrants a few days prior to the event.  All details may change based on weather and river conditions.  Details… OYO GEAR DROP 10:30am:  This is you if you are bringing your own kayak, you will need to gear drop at Wamego River Access then you'll head to Belvue to board the bus.  We will remain with your gear and ours while you're gone. EVERYONE CHECK IN:  11:300am at the Belvue  River Access Ramp  to load the bus for a ride to Wamego.  Regular Rental: $60 Regular OYO: $40 Club Rental: $50 Club OYO: $30 OYO = Own your Own Bring: sunscreen, water, electrolyte replacements, hearty snacks and lunch, beverage of choice, small soft sided coolers fit into the kayaks more easily - feel free to bring more than one. Wear:  a hat, sunglasses, sun protectant clothing, water shoes or old tennis shoes (crocs and flip flops are not acceptable) we suggest a car bag for post paddle - dry towel to sit on, dry clothes... makes the ride home more comfy SOLD OUT - if this event is SOLD OUT you may request a spot on our waiting list by emailing [email protected] - tell us what ticket type you want and how many. We will track the list and add you to the event if we can. Expected time commitment: However long it takes, we don’t rush, we go with the flow.  This start time suggests we'll be off river late afternoon. Dirty Girl Adventures Event Refund Policy: Refunds are given up to two weeks before the date of the event no questions asked. After that, refunds are not given unless there are exceptional circumstances. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel or modify an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We will paddle and hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions. What are you paying for? It’s more than a rented kayak, it’s an experience!  We will lift and haul all the gear you need for your adventure. We will provide instruction, support, guidance and safety information before and during each event. We will be there with you for the duration of the event doing our best to help you remain comfortable and engaged in the adventure. You will have the opportunity to ride the Dirty Bus as your shuttle from one point to the other.
