The Land Center is pleased to announce the 2022 Land Center Lectures. This year will feature Dr. C. Ben Mitchell, who formerly held the Graves Chair of Moral Philosophy at Union University and is a leading evangelical ethicist. Dr. Mitchell, who serves as a senior fellow with the Land Center, will lecture on the theme of “The Human Person.”
At a time when a disruptive, chaotic world is increasingly asking the question, “what does it mean to be human?,” Christians are poised to answer with clarity, conviction, and compassion. The digital age, with its promise and peril, challenge our understanding of the human person. The sexual revolution, with its march toward moral anarchy, challenge our understanding of the human person. Questions of work, rest, poverty, aging, and medicine challenge our understanding of the human person.
The Land Center is pleased to offer this lecture series free of charge, to students and faculty of Southwestern Seminary and Texas Baptist College as well as our friends and neighbors here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and around the country.
