Hello - I am a credentialed Special Education teacher in a Ph.D. program in Phoenix. I am looking to take on 1-2 students for tutoring and life skills training this upcoming academic year. A little about me; I am 35 years old, a military veteran with a Master’s and credential in Special Education, as well as six years of classroom experience. I have worked with students diagnosed with various disabilities (autism, ADHD, cognitive processing deficits, emotional disturbance, and intellectual disability) and from diverse backgrounds. Below are some of the services I offer. Academic Tutoring Life Skills Training IEP Consultation and Advocacy Academic Evaluation Goal Setting Progress Reporting Diet and Fitness Coaching Outdoor Education I am looking for a family that I can work with during the upcoming school year so that we have the chance to build a strong relationship, gain an understanding of the disability and needs of the student, and create personalized goals that we can achieve together!
