Hello all, I’m a 37 year old dude that has played guitar for 25 years. I’ve been in a Philly-based metal band for the past 4 years. I lived down there when we started the band but moved back to central PA in 2020, and I’ve been commuting to rehearsals and shows ever since. We have recorded a studio album, played a lot of shows, but we may be going on hiatus soon. I am looking to start or join an original metal band, ideally with people in the central PA region. I have a big house available for practice space. I have a professional rig. I typically play a 7 string. I have eclectic music tastes but in terms of writing and performing I prefer heavy music, no matter the particular sub-genre. I am down for just doing some jamming but would love to put together a 4 or 5 piece band to play some bars or festivals, and possibly record an EP or album. I have connections in the Philly area and can book shows as soon as we are ready if willing to drive. Looking to practice hopefully about once per week, 1 to 2 shows per month.
