This is a part-time job for someone who wants 20 to 40 hours per week, but needs flexibility in their work hours. Ideal for students, stay-at-home mom or anyone who does not wish to commit to a regular schedule of 40 hours. However, we would need for you to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week. The work hours in a given week would be those mutually agreed upon between you and your supervisor. We are an electronics contract manufacturer. We assemble circuit boards, cable assemblies, wire harnesses and other electronic products. Nice variety of work - everything from harness assembly to precise crimping, soldering and electrical testing. Some days you'll be running and cutting long wires and cables and will get a real workout! Other days you will be doing bench work, where you must have good eyesight and steady hands for the close-up work - some of the work involves precision assembly of very small parts. We do not do "look-see" assembly, meaning we do not follow a sample product and do not build a product from verbal instructions. All of our information comes from concise and detailed engineering drawings which you will be required to interpret and follow precisely. This is something we will train you on, but you must be good at making precise measurements and with following written technical instructions in general. Good wages and excellent working conditions. Our production floor is a small and friendly area, 100% free of conflict, gossip and grumbling. People with adult-like attitudes find the work very pleasant and rewarding. Others need not apply.
