Blues Vocalist wants to start a band/group

I'm solid blues. From Joe Bonamassa, now this young guy Kingfish, Ruth Brown, Clapton, Denise Lasalle, J. L. Hooker, T-Bone Walker, BB, Stevie Ray, Bob Bland, Mayall, KoKo Taylor, Little Milton....you get the picture. Now I want to do my own thing. I'm starting out raw and fresh out on my own. I've been a background singer for others. And I want to break off from that. I know that I have what it takes. I play several different instruments. So i do know music, and I know the difference b/t a beginner or novice, vs a really dope musician who can get it. And that's what I want to work with....skilled musicians. I want to record some tracks and send them to Alligator Records up in Chicago, possibly take a trip up there to Chicago just to meet the owners. I'll pay for the trip and the meals. I'm not just looking to play in my basement or just to get around and have a few beers at your house. I'm trying to go somewhere with this. Let's go to Open Mic night at some of these places in and around atlanta. There are tons of them that are being advertised right on facebook! I also have some events coming up with a local record company and producing firm that I work with and for. They're free events, but it's enough to get us started for the sake of exposure. I'm not concerned about race, religion, sexual preference, personal life, none of that. I JUST WANT TO SING AND MAKE MUSIC! Looking for others who are as serious as I am and on the same agenda. Lets not waste each other's time. I'm ready. So lets do it. Need it all. Piano, organ, drums, bass (electric bass only plz), rhythm guitarist, lead guitarist, horn sect. Let's make it happen.
