Please read ENTIRE POST before replying :) Hi, this little guy is Charlie!! 7 lbs - Tiny but mighty!! Neutered, 3 1/2 years Terrier Mix, possibly Yorkshire Terrier Mixed with Chihuahua looking for his FOREVER HOME!! High energy little dog that loves to run and play. Always ready to go on leashed walks and adventures. Crate trained and mostly potty trained. Knows basic commands: Sit, Down, Stay, Roll Over, Shake, Leave It, Go to Bed. Charlie also loves being around dogs of all sizes. !!! IMPORTANT !!! 1. Charlie would not do great with children as he needs his boundaries respected. He is a happy little dog that can be insecure and distrustful of people's intentions around him, so can become afraid and defensive. He does not like to be picked up unless he knows and trusts you. He does best with people that are calm and confident, as he will go up to them for affection and a wagging playful tail. He seems to do best with MALES. 2. He would do best with an experienced, calm, confident leader who can build trust with him. Luckily, Charlie is a very eager student, always ready to learn and follow directions for food/treats :) 3. Charlie is a very smart, alert and LOYAL companion, constantly checking in for love and affection but also being very independent. He needs someone that will be his best friend, take him on adventures, but also be respectful of when he needs his space. 4. It would be great if he had a backyard to run and play.
