Wow-Factors Event Rental is now hiring General Warehouse Member in Indianapolis, IN 46203 Full and Part Time Positions available Qualifications This position requires frequent lifting and a significant degree of walking, bending, and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions. Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs. Must maintain a professional personal appearance Must keep an acceptable attendance record Must have a full range of motion and dexterity Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience. Responsibilities Cleans and sanitizes all rental equipment, meeting ready-to-rent quality standards Inspects returned equipment for damages, repairs equipment or tags takes inventory of damaged equipment and notifies supervisor According to the customer contract, it pulls ready-to-rent equipment and places it in the correct staging area for delivery This position will also assist with other warehouse and logistic duties as instructed by management Inspects, cleans, and maintains equipment specified by manufacturer and company procedures and quality standards Frequent lifting and cleaning of equipment and potentially transporting equipment of various weights to new locations within the warehouse or onto a truck Wraps and packages equipment according to company procedures and quality standards According to the Customer's order, pulls and moves equipment to the proper staging area for delivery Performs quality checks on all equipment, ensuring accurate counts and equipment is functioning correctly Performs all standard safety checks before sending equipment out for delivery Adheres to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in written or verbal form Perform other duties as requested The work is typically very physical and demanding, both from strength and stamina required May help load and unload delivery vehicles during the busy season From time to time, it will help maintain inventory Shipping and receiving functions, from light to heavy, are also performed Most work will be indoors with general warehouse conditions, in which some work areas may not be heated or air-conditioned This job requires constant interaction with co-workers Benefits Hourly pay + seasonal overtime opportunities Full time / year-round + seasonal overtime opportunities• Paid training / professional development Employee discount Health insurance (available after 90 days) Vision and dental insurance (after 90 day) Paid time off Life Insurance Monday to Friday Weekend availability Year-round work
