Historic Downtown Ripon is proud to introduce our newest event, the Rhythm & Brews Craft Beer Celebration. Rhythm & Brews is a craft beer sampling event which will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on Friday, October 14 at participating businesses. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample up to 14 specialty seasonal craft brews at participating businesses. The list of craft beers that will be available for tasting will be released soon. Tasting locations include: American Alchemy, Diedrich Jewelers, DiG Garden Store, Knuth Brewing Company, and Soul Patina. Check back for updates. Numerous businesses will be open late during the event to provide you with an adequate dose of shopping therapy. Businesses are also open to non event participants. Limited tickets, which are $30 in advance, are required for this event and available only through Eventbright. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to participate. All participants must wear a wristband during the event. Wristbands, beverage passports, and commemorative sampling glasses can be picked up beginning at 1:30 pm on Friday, October 14 at the new Ripon Chamber of Commerce/Ripon Main Street office located at 401 Watson Street. Each attendee must pick up their wristband in person – we cannot send your wristband home with a friend, family member or spouse. Ripon Rhythm & Brews is a rain or shine event, and all ticket sales are final. All proceeds from this event will support downtown beautification projects and community festivals. The health and well-being of our attendees and business owners is our top priority. For the safety of the participants and our merchants, we ask that you adhere to proper social distancing recommended guidelines, and cooperate with any guidelines or restrictions merchants have in place at their establishment. We ask that attendees please stay home if you or anyone in your party feels ill. We sincerely appreciate your patience and continued support. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY GOVERNMENT WARNING: (1) According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems. Check-In: Tickets may be redeemed beginning at 1:00 pm at Ripon Chamber/Main Street office (401 Watson Street) on the day of the event. WineWalkers will start the evening at the Ripon Chamber/Main Street office, where they will receive a badge which is good for up to fourteen (14) craft beer samples throughout the evening. No alcohol will be served before 5:30 pm. Downtown Ripon shops and restaurants are open to the general public of all ages during this event. Come on down and join us...it's going to be an exciting evening! Discover historic downtown Ripon, Wisconsin, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Rules: • Attendees must be 21 and over. Please bring ID with you. Must be present to receive your wristband. Photo ID will be checked and wristband will be applied at time of check-in. • Badges must be marked by servers. Tips: • Avoid waiting in line by picking up your materials starting at 1:00 pm on October 14. • Choose your route in advance to avoid getting separated from your group. • Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, since you'll be walking outdoors between locations. • If you make purchases during some of the great sales on the route, ask the business about picking up your purchase when you complete the walk or the next day. • Be sure to eat lunch during the day to avoid drinking on an empty stomach. Some locations on the route will also have food available to sample or purchase. • Post photos to Instagram and Facebook using hashtag #riponwi and #ripongood • Cross the streets at crosswalks. • Bring your ID. • Manage your alcohol intake; we reserve right to refuse serving anyone who appears to be intoxicated.
