Starts Monday, September 19th (Mondays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for six weeks) ​Class dates: 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/17, 10/24, and 11/7 (No classes on 10/10 or 10/31). Participants will learn basic fabrication techniques such as piercing, forming, soldering, and surface finishing. In addition, there will be demonstrations on stone setting techniques for rings & pendants. Discussions will include applying design principles to jewelry making and how to improve craftsmanship. This class is open to beginners & intermediate metalsmiths. Fee does not include materials. The $50 materials kit can be purchased directly from the instructor. The kit utilizes sterling silver and brass components. Additional materials can be purchased separately. Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.   NOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students, including wearing masks while inside the building.
