Starts September 15th (Thursdays from 6PM-9PM for six weeks.) The goal of this 6-week course is to finish 1, 2, or more watercolor landscape paintings. Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on critiques, you will learn an important concept each week that will help you paint exciting landscapes. Subjects include how to paint a dynamic sky, the significance of values, the three most important colors to mix for trees and grass, how to blend colors and use glazing, and how to compose your paintings. This class is for beginners and intermediate students. Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200. Fee does not include materials. A supply list can be emailed upon request. NOTE: COVID-19 protocols are in place for the safety of our teachers and students, including wearing masks while inside the building. He is an associate member of the American Watercolor Society. He holds an MFA in Writing. He studied art at the Art Students League, and the School of Visual Arts.
